This pop-up will not show up if you have already registered a different instance of MO2. From the pop-up called Register?, select Yes. MO2 will launch and prompt you with a pop-up called Show tutorial?, in which you should select No. This will not effect download/game performance, and the downloads can be deleted after the mods have been installed. If you have MO2 installed on an SSD or a HDD with little space, you can check the Show advanced options box and change the Downloads file path to a different drive with more space. On the next page, keep the Location file path default. On the next page, select Create a global instance. You will be prompted with a pop-up called Creating an instance, in which you should just select Next. This will show you the currently installed FOSE version. Press the Tilde Key(~) and type “getfoseversion”. You can also test this by launching Fallout 3. If you follow the above steps correctly FOSE will start working again properly. A black console-like screen will appear press Enter to continue. Once all the files are moved to the Fallout 3 directory, launch the patcher application. Open your Fallout 3 folder and move all the extracted files from the previous folder to this directory. Extract the Fallout Anniversary Patcher in its own folder. Go to Nexus Mods and search for Fallout Anniversary Patcher. How to Use the Fallout Anniversary Patcher to Enable FOSE But you can get it to work with the help of the Fallout Anniversary Patcher. There is still an issue here and that is if you have the latest fallout 3 version installed then FOSE won’t work. One thing to remember is in order to use the mods you will have to run the game through fose_loder.exe. If you do the above steps correctly you will have successfully installed the Fallout 3 Script Extender. If the directory asks you to overwrite any files then choose yes. Make sure you move it in the directory and not in some folder in the directory. Move all the files from this folder to the Fallout 3 directory. Go to your FOSE folder where you extracted all the files. In this directory, you should be able to see the Fallout 3 executable. 
Your File Explorer will open in the Fallout 3 directory. 
Go to the Local files tab and click on browse local files. 
Extract the FOSE 7z archive file in its own folder. Open File Explorer and go to the location where you save the FOSE 7z archive. At the time of writing this article, the latest stable version is fose_v1_2_beta2.7z and the latest beta version is fose_v1_3_beta.7z. Download the stable or the beta version of the 7z archive of FOSE. Search FOSE on google and go to the official website.
